01Craftsmanship
Every LakuNature bag begins with natural rattan and the knowledge of Indonesian makers. Our designs are shaped around the material’s texture, strength, and warmth, then woven and assembled by hand in Indonesia. The process leaves room for the small differences that distinguish handmade work: a shift in tone, a change in weave, or a subtle variation in form. Rather than standardising those traces away, we allow them to remain part of each piece. The result combines disciplined design with the visible presence of craft, rooted in traditions from Java and Bali and made for a contemporary global wardrobe.
02The character of handmade work
Because each piece is handmade from natural rattan, slight variations in colour, texture, weave, shape, and dimensions are normal and are not considered defects. These variations are part of the character of the material and the individuality of each bag.
